Temporary Heat & Climate Control for Your Active Job Sites

Cold weather creates real constraints on schedules, safety, and productivity. We provide planned, compliant temporary heat solutions - covering equipment, permits, fuelling, and ongoing support - so your site stays operational through winter.

End-to-End Temporary Heat Support

Temporary heat is more than just about dropping off equipment. It requires planning, compliance, fuel management, and responsive support when conditions change. We handle the full scope with licensed expertise, local accountability, and 24/7 availability, so your site stays operational and your schedule stays intact.

From early planning through day-to-day operation, we manage the full scope of temporary heat so your site can keep moving safely and efficiently.

Complete Ground Thaw Solutions

When frost conditions affect excavation, concrete, or site preparation, we deploy proprietary controlled ground thaw systems using insulated tarps and stands to concentrate heat where it’s needed. This approach helps crews work safely and maintain progress during winter conditions without unnecessary disruption. This method, tested side-by-side with traditional methods, has proven to deliver faster and cleaner ground thaw.

Integrated Temporary Heat Services

From system design and permitting to fueling, monitoring, and site support, we coordinate every aspect of temporary heat to keep projects moving forward.

Permits & Compliance

We manage gas permits for temporary heat systems where gas-fired equipment is used. Permit needs can vary by location and scope, and our team works with site supervisors to confirm requirements and ensure gas systems are installed and operated in accordance with applicable codes.

Heat Planning & System Design

We provide temporary heating solutions tailored to each project’s size, layout, and site conditions. For larger or more complex projects, our team develops detailed heat plans to optimize performance and safety. We also assess available fuel sources—including propane, diesel, and natural gas—and configure equipment accordingly, with all gas and propane installations completed by our licensed gasfitters.

Hoarding & Site Containment

We supply and install 6-mil poly hoarding to temporarily enclose doors, windows, and building openings prior to permanent installation. Proper containment helps retain heat, manage moisture, and limit dust and contaminants – reducing rework, weather-related delays, and material damage during cold-weather phases.

Scheduled Fuel Delivery

We provide reliable on-site fuel delivery for temporary heaters and generators, scheduling deliveries to keep equipment operating without interruption. Our team fuels directly at your equipment, helping prevent run-outs, reduce downtime, and support continuous operation throughout your project.

Remote Fuel Monitoring

Our remote fuel monitoring system uses tank sensors to track fuel levels in real time. Our team monitors each tank and schedules deliveries before fuel levels become critical, reducing the risk of unexpected outages while eliminating the need for manual fuel checks.

Ongoing Site Support

Temporary heat systems require active management. Our team provides ongoing support throughout the project, including on-site setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and 24/7 on-call assistance when needed – so issues are addressed quickly and schedules stay intact.

“We rented a propane heater from New West Equipment for a winter concrete pour. Clarence and team, including delivery staff, provided excellent service at a reasonable price. I would recommend them.”
